Egg-cellent Easter Craft

What you will need:

  • X-Press It Canvas
  • X-Press It Blending Card
  • X-Press It TripleTac
  • X-Press It Sticky Barc
  • X-Press It Foam Mounting Squares
  • Amsterdam Acrylic Paint
  • Scissors
  • Paint Brush
  • Ribbon

Step 1: Using your Amsterdam Acrylic paints, mix a colour to be your feature colour for your canvas. Flip your canvas over, we’re using the back side of it. Paint the back of the canvas (including the sides), let dry completely.

Step 2: Lay out 4 sheets of your blending card and on each sheet paint a different colour. We chose to do 2 sheets of green (for the grass), 1 sheet of light blue/white (for the clouds) and one sheet of pink (for the balloon). Let dry completely.

Step 3: Draw an egg shape on the pink and cut out. Using your sticky bark, draw out a basket shape with two long lines to attach to the egg vertically. Cut these out. Draw an extra two curved lines on the sticky bark and cut out. Attach these horizontally to the egg.

Step 4: Tie a very small bow and stick onto your sticky bark basket with TripleTac glue. Let dry completely.
Attach your basket to your pink egg.

Step 5: Cut out your grass and clouds and start to arrange in your canvas. Create height and depth using the Foam Mounting Squares, or stick on flat using the TripleTac glue.

Step 6: Display your Easter shadow box for the Easter Bunny to see when he’s delivering the eggs!

Hoppy Easter!
